Galactica

To celebrate the popularity of the Galactica Trailer Trip to Trumpton on YouTube, I am publishing both Galactica Films for download.

Its been great fun to see the popularity of the Trip to Trumpton Promo on Youtube, particularly seeing the large amounts of comments, many from people who were at the events or recognise people who were. I wanted to write up my memories of the events to go along with this post – but its a bit overwhelming, so for the time being here are the films.

York ’91

An attendance of nearly 7000. N-Joi topped the bill along with Dream Frequency, Carl Cox and the Utah Saints, who’s  Kate Bush sampled “Something Good” was probably the theme tune of the event.

Ripon ’92

We tried hard to learn from the chaos of the first Galactica production to really run a tight ship, but it quickly descended into chaos. All I really remember is being sat on the grass in front of the stage staring at Keith Harris & Orvil performing their new ‘rave’ single, wondering what on earth was going on.
